    General Fastener Series
    General Fastener Series

    Fasteners for General Usage

Not every project needs a fastener engineered for a specific stress condition — most assembly work calls for reliable, standards-compliant parts that are readily available and easy to source in volume. The General Fastener Series is built for exactly that: broad coverage across common nut, bolt, and screw types, so you can consolidate routine fastener sourcing with a single supplier instead of managing it across several.

For applications with a specific vibration, load, or environmental requirement, see our Automotive Parts Series or Special Parts for Railway Power.

    Where This Series Fits

    General Equipment Manufacturing

Framing, panel, and enclosure assembly where standard hardware covers most of the bill of materials.

    Maintenance & Spare Parts

Replacement fasteners for repair and upkeep work, where consistent stock availability matters more than a specialized spec.

    Construction & Fabrication

General structural and fixture assembly on-site or in the workshop, using standard-grade hardware.

    Multi-Product Sourcing

Buyers consolidating several fastener types into one order to simplify procurement and reduce supplier count.

    Automotive Parts Series
    Automotive Parts Series

    Automotive Parts Series

Automotive assembly runs at high volume and high frequency, on production lines where a single inconsistent batch can stall the line. That makes batch-to-batch consistency as critical as the fastener's own strength rating — a supplier who can't hold tight tolerances at scale becomes a line-stoppage risk, not just a parts risk.

Fasteners also have to hold under continuous vibration over the vehicle's service life. A standard hex nut relies on thread friction alone to stay in place — under sustained vibration, that friction gradually breaks down and the nut can back off. This series is built around locking mechanisms and specialty nut types that address that failure mode directly, rather than standard hex nuts alone.

    What's Included in This Series

Nylon Lock Nuts Carbon Steel / Brass
A nylon insert creates friction against the bolt threads, resisting loosening under vibration without damaging the threads — the standard choice for most vibration-prone joints.

    Metal Lock Nuts Carbon Steel
An all-metal locking mechanism gives the same vibration resistance as a nylon lock nut, but withstands higher temperatures — used near engine or exhaust-adjacent mounting points where a nylon insert would degrade.

    Slotted Nuts Carbon Steel
Secured with a cotter pin through slots in the nut and a hole in the bolt, giving a positive mechanical lock for critical connections where friction-based locking alone isn't considered sufficient.

    Square Nuts Carbon Steel
A larger bearing surface and flat sides resist rotation, useful in tight assembly spaces where a wrench flat can't be held on the nut side.

For full specifications on each product, see our Nuts and Bolts pages in the Product Center.

    Where This Series Fits

    Chassis & Suspension

High-vibration mounting points where sustained road shock makes loosening resistance a baseline requirement, not an upgrade.

    Engine-Adjacent Mounting

Fixtures near heat sources, where an all-metal locking mechanism holds up where nylon inserts can't.

    Body & Interior Assembly

Panel and trim fastening at high line speed, where consistent torque and batch uniformity keep automated assembly on schedule.

    Space-Constrained Joints

Tight assembly points where a standard wrench flat can't be held, calling for a nut profile that resists rotation on its own.

    Special Parts for Railway Power
    Special Parts for Railway Power

    Special Parts for Railway Power

Fasteners used in railway power infrastructure carry structural and safety-critical loads, often in outdoor environments with long service intervals between inspections. A connection that loosens or fails between maintenance cycles isn't just a part failure — it's a service disruption or safety incident, which is why load capacity and long-term reliability take priority over standard specifications here.

This series is built around heavy-duty hex components sized for that kind of load-bearing, long-term application, rather than the general-purpose hardware used in routine assembly work.

    What's Included in This Series

    Hex Heavy Nuts Carbon Steel
A thicker profile than a standard hex nut, giving greater thread engagement and load capacity for heavy structural connections that need to stay secure over years of service.

Hex Heavy Head Bolts Carbon Steel
A larger head bearing surface for higher torque application and load distribution, matched to the heavy nut profile for a connection sized to carry sustained structural load.

For full specifications on each product, see our Nuts and Bolts pages in the Product Center.

    Where This Series Fits

    Overhead Line Structures

Catenary and support structures that carry sustained mechanical tension and need connections rated for long-term structural load.

    Support Towers & Gantries

Structural framing exposed to outdoor conditions year-round, where fastener reliability directly affects structural safety margins.

    Trackside Equipment Mounting

Fixed equipment enclosures and brackets that need to stay secure between scheduled maintenance windows.

    Substation & Electrical Infrastructure

Heavy structural connections around power distribution equipment, where load capacity is a baseline safety requirement.
